Is giving away dollars a subtile and disguised way of financial liquidity injection ?

If you were in India, they would get Lindsay arrested for insulting the “national currency.”

Wallstrip has always had a loose monetary policy, especially since we sold out

A dollar won’t even buy one apple or a dozen eggs; this is why “core” inflation excludes everything.
Wallstrip is smarter than Facebook since you can never go wrong with taking a profit!

“I wouldn’t say that - they’re worth a lot - they’re worth a dollar.”

I think we need a little quote vote on wallstrip. all-time favorite quotes. there’s a lot of wisdom hidden in there ;P

A first for Wallstrip - a financial instrument at a multi year low. Do you have the number for the the schlubby Mets fan…? I think he knows more than he is letting onto. Wonderful episode.
Howard Lindzon One year ago
Tony - we did that once, but are due for another.

Refusing to accept money is just more proof that New Yorkers are a strange bunch of people…. try handing out money in Boston and you will hit a homer each time.
Go Red Sox!

The power of WallStrip is incredible… only hours after this U. S. Dollar episode ran, Gold is coming down and the US Dollar is gaining…. as per MarketWatch.

Common misconception is that its illegal to destroy money. After seeing Lindsay destroy that valuable $1 bill i was curious why wallstrip would do that publicly. After the ever exciting google search i find we can actually destroy, mutilate, modify, and render money all we want. Though we can not do any of this with the intent of reissuing the money in a fraudulent manner. Fun Facts are Fun, right?
One time i made a pretty sweet lookin fake $20 bill…. That wasn’t a good idea, got circulated, got arrested, but i was under 18 so i just got a slap on the wrist :)

Can you send me my dollar to Zurich? I’m planning to visit NYC later this year to buy stuff…

it’s sad that a lot of people didn’t want the dollar, it just goes to show you how worthless it actually is these days

Yay! most relevant wallstrip show (to me) yet. How long before US banks start letting you choose between keeping your account in USD or Euros?

A dollar bill being passed TO me, FROM a hot girl would cause massive internal unrest.
I would run to the nearest Ricks in order to restore balance to the universe.
I understand why the natives passed.

Only white people think a dollar is worth nothing. Loved it!

@ doug m:
I don’t think the people not wanting the dollar had anything to do with the lowering value of the dollar. It proabably had more to do with a natural mistrust you have when somebody offers you something too good to be true. They proabably thought the bills were sprayed with the flu or something.
I think those people suck, if it was some strange man handing out dollars sure I’d be suspicious, but if someone hot like Lindsay handed them out I’d take pennies!
Forgive my ignorance but I don’t understand what the fuss is about, as far as I can figure unless your a tourist or an exporter why does it matter? I read an article about how Europeans are unhappy because the Euro is at such a high which means it cuts into export profits. It seems to be people complain one way or another.
Howard Lindzon One year ago
They do complain and this trend wont end until there is a poicy change. you cant print money and expect value to increase forever. just not possible.

A more accurate analogy would be borrowing against your equity.

I wonder what would happen if you tried to give away dollars online? More or less skeptical?
Great video…

The value of the dollar is in direct relation to the intelligence of the US President.
In a few months it will be completely worthless.
John 11 months ago
I liked the first seconds of this when she tore the dollars. That was great. But it is not good for Women to give money to men. Even worthless Dollars. Should be the other way around.
