I prefer the softer lighting in these interviews over the lighting in front of the green screen.

80 million b-booms. A big beautiful Green building fad for bigger homes, second homes, third homes fueling more real estate speculation, sprawl, and encroachment.

Continuing to ignore climate change, drought, and an unsustainable energy future.

howard, the potential of crisis is not yet triggering fund movement to the short side. They are betting/hoping foreign money and B-booms will continue returning to the market and fuel even higher market records. Then funds will switch sides.

I’m with istockdog on this one. Not really going to matter how big your home is when we’re all underwater. :( Wallstrip should plant 1000 trees to make up for this unenvironmentally-aware episode. Instead, may I suggest that everyone follow this link and buy these lightbulbs? http://care2.greenhome.com/products/lighting/light_bulbs/

Love the blooper bits at the end. :) I hope you guys never start taking yourselves too seriously (I see no evidence of it yet).

                      Solid and informative interview.

Oh and great link Lindsay, thank you. I was looking for an LED spotlight a few months ago and couldn’t find one.

Lindsay, then Howard must be thinking “Mountains are a homerun” :)

I predict there is more than humans driving climate change, but I’ll wait for another show to voice my opinion.

If climate change is only about the human impact, energy conservation is making headlines in Davos, which is buzzing with the word Negawatt [link below].

Imagine civilization reaches a time where laws are passed restricting each person to a maximum square foot living/working space. The dude in Telluride with the 30,000 sq ft infloor heated castle, where he doesn’t live, will be bummed. Otoh, if everything is under water, Faery and I will meet you at the castle!

                            Hi Howard,

Ford and GM making big suv’s loosing billions. Govt bailouts in the wings…

Airlines cannot exist without govt help…

And now homebuilders building everyone a castle or three…

Govt works in mysterious ways when the sacred economy is threatened. Autoaircastle are obsolete technologies that simply need to die for civilization to move on. It’s the metal and concrete tire around our neck, as we prepare to tread water. :)

Btw, the format of Wallstrip ensures I miss your blog entry, which helps me understand your perspective better. I suggest you combine the areas into one, beneath the show.

howard, I was speaking about your ‘home’ blog posts.

If a user accesses a show through the archive, they do not have access to your Wallstrip blog ‘review’.
