Howie didn’t call no bottom. He called “a complete disintegration in the price of oil … ” That would imply no price support to form a bottom. However while he was out getting his balls washed, oil made its biggest jump since Katrina. Definition for trend “-noun to tend to take a particular direction; extend in some direction indicated.” No definitely not a trend.

I liked the casual discussion of trends in this episode. Reminded me of your blog. Left me asking why, and wanting to discuss more.

clarification -
the oil price trend is broken under any trend following model. Likely, most trend followers are short oil and have been so since the high 50’s.
Oil is marking time and like past show whole foods where I discussed that broken trends invite different traders.

Lindsay has a pretty good swing for a beginner. Nice natural follow-through.

“Your balls can never be clean enough.”
This has Wallstrip quote of the the year potential. One, because as a beginning golfer she acknowledges the importance of clean equipment; and two, for bravely stating this fact in front of her boss, who is apparently an accomplished linkster.
