In this vlog, outside actors played a major part, but a good chunk of your vlogs have other actors in them. From where do you hire your supporting cast?

Hilarious - satirical entertainment at its best!

Most of our actors have been alumni of the Master’s degree program at the National Theater Conservatory in Denver. The wonderful actors in this episode though we’re hired through Craigslist.
Thanks for watching!

I was trained at home, watching the Brady Bunch. You can see the influence of Bobby Brady in my work.

LOL funny!
Bollwoodstrip…an excellent episode of wallstrip.
How did Lindsay manage that Indian accent? Flawless

And I thought Craiglist was just to find an old computer or a “dating service” Who knew there so much acting talent to be found on Craigslist. First Lindsay now the newest cast.

Only thing I would add is that WIT reports earnings before the open tomorrow, consensus is .10 vs .08 last year. Thanks for not outsourcing my analysis of the technicals!

Always fun to watch the idiots running for office tell us how they are going to “protect American jobs” by reducing outsourcing for a few months every 2-4 years…
howard lindzon One year ago
I hate agreeing with anything politically with Andy, but it also means disagreeing with Lou Dobbs
Easy decision for me on outsourcing - long aandy, short lou dobbs

Andy, You and I are on the same page on this one!

Very funny! Clever concept, well done.
And WIT sounds like a winner!
” But Hovard, ve have a minimum vage.”
Is this the new catch phrase around your company?

Yeah, funny for sure. It is vey funny that folks in the US still believe that most Indians speak with such as accent and that English is their second language. That is truly the funny bit here.
80% of Indians speak Engish as their first language and I would be surprised if an Indian writes “The wonderful actors in this episode though we’re hired through Craigslist” instead of “The wonderful actors in this episode though were hired through Craigslist” Ah… details, details…
Lindsay, you are pretty, but maybe you can use an English Tutor - I am sure there are plenty of folks with an Indian origin in New York who can help.

Great, I thought the guy on the Simpson was how all Indians talk and that the trash guy from the seventies was how all American Indians dressed. Now I find out that these are stereotypes and that their English is better than mine. I guess I better start traveling and quit spending so much time on the net and watching TV. Thanks sensible guy, you’ve changed my life. Now if I could only figure out the difference between comedy and real life. I’ll work on that tomorrow.

I thought the “Indian Lindsay” got some of those mannerisms down pretty damn good ;)

Jeff—even a broken clock is right twice a day.
(You can take that to mean me and I’ll take it to mean you) :)
Of course, if Howard agrees with me that’s enough evidence that I may want to rethink my position…
Click my name above for my views on outsourcing….more to come on my blog as we just had the CEO of Grey Matter India in for the weekend. Yes, he did sound something like that and yes, his English was great….it’s just an accent like any other.

Check out their competitor CTSH. I have no idea why anyone would buy wipro, tata, etc, when they could instead go w/ ctsh.

Yes the best thing about that episode was the Lindsay impression. She’s got her down. Great work.
I find outsourcing to India to be an irritating trend, personally. Let’s not pretend that Indians actually speak flawless English. Have you called tech support lately? For just about anything?
howard lindzon One year ago
Ken,
CTSH is definately wallstrip material
write the script buddy and we will do it :)
