    Looking at complete lack of infofilter social commentary makes me think that being completely unrecognized is as good as a brand that is recognized and growing like crazy.

      As I susprected in my post, Roger, Roger, Ugly, Brian and Nick have some great insight on the company and stock in the conversation. the Rad dudes give their unique left coast opinion as well.

        Solid performance Lindsay. Not that you’ve ever sucked…but you are delivering the content with more and more confidence as the show progresses. Keep up the good work.

          Thanks, Nick. Appreciate it.

            I agree with Fenton. Lindsay is getting to be a real professional at this. I also like the clips at the end of the show recently that let her personality loose :)

              Warren had a great idea at the right time and in the right place but that is all he had. He was dead wrong in his currency extravagenza. There are many Buffet wannabees out there looking for exactly the same deals he found and there is a whack of VC cash looking for a place to park. The man is done. He is rich but he is going nowhere unless he can go overseas and there is no guarantee his expertise will shore up any better when he again moves outside his niche. Shorting on his death is no different then shorting any company that loses a glamour ceo (or whatever his current postion is)but your statement makes good copy, was delivered well and made me chuckle.

              P.S. Could you make this comment window as wide as the typing box. I don’t mind scrolling up and down but this side to side with the up and down ……..is making me sea sick.

                I disagree completely. Lindsay always had it, it’s the producer who was holding her back through his unyielding insistance to be the comical star of the show. Down with management! Vote Howard the Great out of office tomorrow!

                  BRK = McCandless Corporation

                  as I said facetiously last night before Wallstrip release

                  http://howardlindzon.com/?p=1309#comments

                  JazzyBC - you are right…Buffett is so done…stick a fork in him for crisssakes…I mean Jon Markham said it 7 months ago on MSN…a bunch of people said it 7-8 years ago during Web 1.0…and if I was not in grade school in the 70’s and 80’s I am sure I could point to people who said he was over the hill then as well.

                  I mean the stock is a 10 bagger since 92′ when it sold for $10,000 with a 15 billion mcap, a 3x since late 90’s and a double since early 2000. And what point do people stop saying BRK is over???

                  As I said in my comment to Howard’s blog…whether you eat it, ship it, buy it, read it, or insure it, most people can’t go a day without putting a little money in BRK’s pockets.

                  I mean lets just say for fun we want to boycott BRK…to hurt them buy not giving them earnings…I mean you can boycott XOM by not stopping at an Exxon or Mobil right..take a look at BRK…here is what a boycott means doing without:

                  KO, WFC, AXP, PG, JNJ, WMT, TGT, MCO, WPO, COP, FDC/WU, COST, NKE, LOW, HD, PTR, UPS, GCI, etc..

                  Look at the list…anyone who used gas today, bought Nike’s, shopped at pretty much any national retailer, washed clothes, shaved, bought a newspaper…put some earnings that go to BRK’s bottom line…and this does not even include the wholly own companies.

                  I know I may come across as a Buffett lover…but I am not…I am just trying to make the point (with a bit of hyperbole) that the average person in our society simply cannot make a move without paying a toll to BRK.

                  BRK = McCandless Corporation

                  LOL

                        oh yeah just to follow up…Lindsay…What do you mean you dont know where Buffett is going after he shakes the mortal coil???

                        Why do you think he has made friends with Gates?

                        “Some rich guy dies. . .
                        . . .they save his mind in a computer. . .
                        . . .they call the Spiritual Switchboard.”

                        Man Gates is gonna digitize Buffett and store him in a computer…what you think that “donation” was all about…charity?

                        Thats why BRK aint ever going to slow down…Buffett’ mind is gonna live forever!!! LOL

                          How old is the Oracle of Omaha??? I don’t know if I can hold my short position on BRK until the old man kicks it… however, until the day he does, I’m not going to be against him!

                                FINALLY, I viewed a non-stalling Wallstrip at
                                youtube. Linsay was perfect yet again. That
                                necklace was hypnotic in a symbolic way–the
                                chains that bind us, information, greed, and
                                attraction.

                                  Lindsay,
                                  I am new to the site, I have been a member of your mybloglog for a bit and have read some of the articles, but I have recently started watching your clips. I have to admit, you rock. I really like the content, keep it up.

                                    haha funny ending, even if it is a touch black.
                                    can someone explain why steven is talking about the impossibility of a berkshire boycott?
                                    does anybody really care about whether you buy a product they invest in or outright own?
