    Hah! Brilliant!

Crocs are still butt-ugly though. Not even the endorsement of fellow countryman Peter Forsberg can save them.

  • howard lindzon // Nov 2, 2006 at 8:12 am

That was cool. I love my Crox

  • howard lindzon // Nov 2, 2006 at 8:18 am

  • Tom // Nov 2, 2006 at 9:35 am

Oh darn, I thought she liked me the best.

  • susan // Nov 2, 2006 at 9:52 am

Bad, bad fad. They are NOT your mother’s Dr. Scholls!!!

  • Lindsay Campbell // Nov 2, 2006 at 10:06 am

Susan, I totally agree! Despite the fact that they helped me fly all over the city I still think they’re hideously ugly and I can’t imagine someone buying them (unless they were under the influence of some kind of incredibly strong marketing spell). Sorry, Howard. In five years, will women be wearing bright orange garden shoes in the city? No way.

  • Trader-X // Nov 2, 2006 at 10:34 am

Uhhh, do I get some kind of royalties for use of my name? In lieu of money, I will take a dinner with Lindsay. Hell, I’ll even pay. Rosa Mexicana? Blue Smoke? Name the place…

  • howard lindzon // Nov 2, 2006 at 10:45 am

e will know all in Infofilter :)

  • jvon // Nov 2, 2006 at 11:33 am

Highly entertaining. :) But not even Lindsay can make those shoes look good.

  • Broker A // Nov 2, 2006 at 11:54 am

    Bravo!

The best one yet. The narrator sounded like the guy from Teletubbies.

  • Stop Loss » Blog Archive » CROX, Crocs Inc // Nov 2, 2006 at 1:07 pm

[…] Today Wallstrip looks at CROX, the makers of the ugly rubber/foam shoes. Like others before, CROX is obviously a fad. That does not mean the growth on the price is not real it just means to be really careful and watch for reversal on the trend. This price could be very sensitive to any form of bad news. […]

  • KAF // Nov 2, 2006 at 2:45 pm

  • howard lindzon // Nov 2, 2006 at 2:56 pm

  • candice // Nov 2, 2006 at 11:02 pm

Hey Lindsay, who makes the first pair of shoes you’re wearing? Those are cool.

(Also. I am so not wearing crocs either. Not even if they make high heeled ones.)

  • mike // Nov 3, 2006 at 12:31 am

Crocs are hot - the stock, NOT the shoes.
    Can you say “BUTT UGLY!”

  • Jo // Nov 3, 2006 at 1:57 am

I fail to see the appeal of crox, is it the comfiness or the airiness? That being said, I really enjoyed this episode’s concept, the concept reminded me of a tetris game and Moscow for some reason. Was the extra touch of makeup part of the whole fairy tale theme?

  • Lisa Tonello // Nov 3, 2006 at 9:45 pm

    Lindsay,
Loved the crocs blog, but wouldn’t be caught dead wearing them. We wish we knew about the IPO in February.Missed as usual.

  • C. Maoxian // Nov 7, 2006 at 2:49 am

Wonder what the production cost is on a pair of foam rubber Birkenstock knock-offs?

  • howard lindzon // Nov 25, 2006 at 11:35 am

    under 2 bucks mr. chairman

  • rachel lindzon // Nov 25, 2006 at 11:36 am

  • J.R. "Bob" Dobbs // Dec 18, 2006 at 7:16 pm

Amazing sendup of Amélie. One of your best segments EVER. Lindsay you look fabulous in those Crocs! Your cute hair and makeup just made me want to pinch your cheeks, kiss your forehead, pat your derriere and send you off to Journeys to buy a whole closet full.

  • HART (1-800-HART) // Dec 25, 2006 at 1:26 pm

CROCs are the greatest invention since sliced bread. I wore my beach CROCs up until the first snow, and finally my feet will have these CROCs all-terrain shoes for the rest of the year!

Everytime I see someone wearing CROCs .. and that person notices me wearing CROCs .. it’s like - an unwritten thing - nod - & acknowledgement. YUP / that person knows.

  • Howard Lindzon // Jan 1, 2007 at 10:33 am

    HART - you get it

  • Tommy // Jan 15, 2007 at 7:50 pm

Hi Lindsay, you actually looked hotter w/ the sexy orange heels than w/ those non-sexy Crocs.

  • CROX MPEL QLD and RIMM for 011607–Online Stock Trading | Stock Trading Online // Jan 16, 2007 at 10:27 pm

[…] Possibly the only thing prettier than the current daily chart of CROX - Crocs Inc., is Lindsay Campbell sporting a pair of the fashionably, ugly shoes in a clip at Wallstrip. The stock closed at a new closing high today, and has been putting in higher lows since I spotted it’s mouth watering base. Held overnight. […]

I have a friend who works for Walmart. She says Walmart is contracting with a Chinese manufacturer to produce better line of foam Crocs than they carried last year. Walmart ! If that’s not a reason to see the stock I don’t know what is.

  • Jason Chupick // Feb 5, 2007 at 12:49 pm

I hope Crocs can continue to innovate in the face of knock-offs. I was a hater too till I tried them–I have hundreds of miles of walking on mine and they’re still going strong. The foam rubber really does resist the dreaded stink that Adidas flip-flops cannot.

  • Jeff // Feb 5, 2007 at 2:15 pm

Just don’t let your kiddies tootsies (or your’s) get caught in an escalator. Looked at the stock but went another direction.

  • ludovic // Feb 27, 2007 at 4:07 pm

    hey,

    Hello,
