That’s right, Chrysler has jumped on the electric car bandwagon. Today, the company displayed three prototypes:a Dodge, a Jeep, and a Chrysler minivan. One of them will start selling in 2010.
Chrysler is apparently in talks with A123 for electric car batteries. They also work with GM. The company isn’t public yet, but the IPO should be sometime soon, if anyone’s interested.

- Sept 23 (Reuters) - U.S. car maker Chrysler LLC is in advanced talks to use batteries made by A123 Systems Inc in an electric car due to be launched by 2011, the Wall Street Journal said citing people familiar with the matter. [...]
- A spokeswoman for Chrysler said the company “has nothing to announce at this time” about suppliers for its electric car while a spokesman for A123 could not be reached, the paper said.
