        I know that advertising is necessary for both candidates but when you think of how much money they spent just to get the nomination AND how much they’re spending to get elected plus what the current administration is pouring into Iraq, it’s OBSCENE!

        Homelessness, recession, inflation, cost of living outrunning earnings and all this money being spent to “win” the office of President so they can either withdraw from our mistake in the Middle East or escalate it = HUGE WASTE OF MONEY THAT COULD BE USED TO ACTUALLY HELP PEOPLE WHO NEED IT!

          I think campaign spending is about 8 pct of the GDP. That’s OK. Keeps a lot of people employed that would otherwise be stealing gas out of SUVs.
