Wallstrip 2.0 Launches!

Welcome to Wallstrip 2.0, where everything is happy and bubbly so you don’t have to think about how much money you’re losing on the market. Sure, the site is blue, but don’t let that fool you: we laugh in the face of market woes.

Just wanted to take a moment to introduce you to this new step in our Wallstrippy journey. Our web team, Sean Tice and Adam Hobson, designed some great new tools, so take a minute to find out what the site has to offer. Come on, don’t be scared. We’ll walk you through it.

  • Searching our archive is no longer a pain in the neck. You can still search by keyword or ticker symbol from any page on the site, but now you can also search episodes by sector or category. If that’s not enough for you, check out the “Hot Topics” section at the top of each page. Here, you’ll find hot internet trends. Click on a topic, and it will lead you to everything we’ve got on our site that relates. That’s right: you too can catch up to all the cool kids.
  • The episode page is more intuitive. Our episodes now come complete with related shows, threaded comments, and connected blog posts! Act now and receive a free exclamation point!
  • Tell us what’s on your mind. Now, you can give us your opinion about the stocks we cover by telling us if you’re long or short the particular stock. You can base it off of reality (if you’re actually invested in the stock) or fantasy (if you EVER have enough money to be long Apple). Your opinion matters even if you don’t have a fancy briefcase.
  • And in other “tell us what’s on your mind” news… Fill our tip jar with stocks you think we should cover or articles you find interesting. If you think we should see it, stuff it in the jar.

As you can see, most of these new tools are there to make your experience more enjoyable, but we’ve also tried to bring your voices into the mix. Wallstrip is nothing without you guys, so keep your comments and suggestions coming!
