Hey - I resemble this. I’m a cracker hick from down south. Please bring in authentic cracker or redneck talent when attempting to do the dialect. Scale wages should apply.

Impressed to see Wal-Mart is offering $4 prescriptions http://fupi.ws/kLT
Nice when the cost of a drug can be cheaper than an insurance co-pay.
I’ll send someone to pick up my meds though..wouldn’t be caught dead in the place

Nice. I had to rewind it to hear you say Wal-Mart a second time. Classic.
…What’s wrong with Linux? The Mart was pushing cheap ass PC’s ($200 range) with some linux variant called linspire. I never picked one up, but today, I’m running ubuntu. Try it. It makes your PC act like a mac for a fraction of the price.

You missed out on an opportunity to make some “marry your cousin” jokes. Something like “my cousins are marrying each other and their wedding gift registry is at walmart.”

regarding the walmart computers, let FSJ tell the tale - http://fakesteve.blogspot.com/2008/03/wal-mart-yanks-linux-pc-cites-lack-of.html
and more seriously, there’s this for those who don’t watch news on tv anymore - http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/us/2008/03/26/kaye.walmart.update.cnn

Those Linux type computers they are selling have a free operating system in beta called Gos, which stands for “good os”with “green” hardware components. I believe it does cost something like $200, however, customers were complaining due to their lack of Linux based computer knowledge. So I would understand them taking them off the shelves (if they did). People don’t understand that it is not Windows and therefore most drivers and software are not compatible.
Oh yea by the way, I hate Wally World

So what happens to WMT when foreign competitors enter the market and maintains a better brand image… Cadbury? Wait what about Meijer, I love Meijer! WMT will take the same route of other huge retailers of the past *cough*sears… The only protection they have is massive economies of scale exponentially affecting their own purchasing power. The time will come when Wall Mart falls, hopefully in my lifetime….!
