I think coal companies will dominate energy production to come, especially when they find they can use their carbon dioxide emissions to grow micro algae which can be used to make biodiesel fuel or higher margin products like omega 3 fatty acids or pharmaceutical products from genetically engineered algae.
I love the pic of the i.f.f.f. I’m glad my fam moved (and by that I mean spent a lot of money to escape) out of the big C or else we’d probably be living in a smog-chocked city like that one.
Although if they just stayed put and stashed their cash in spot where they could dig it up later, I’d probably be living like an aristocrat now. Struttin’ around the village complete with top hat, cigar, and mono-COAL.
And yes, I did just make up that whole story just to segue into the monocle pun. Thank you.
