What a charismatic guy. For some reason, his physical mannerisms reminded me of Noam Chomsky and Woody Allen!
I approve of Julie’s upfront way of dealing with time restraints: “Gimme a long!”

I think it’s great to see someone so rich have such liberal values. He can invest in my ideas anytime. Long Patricof!

Alan had such incredible insight into the VC world; I only wish we could have shown the entire interview. He wealth of knowledge spans far beyond the financial sector - keep up the good work, Mr. Patricof!

I suggest that Alan’s most important characteristic is his enthusiasm about what people with ideas CAN POSSIBLY ACCOMPLISH if they have access to a reasonable amount of hands-off capital. His optimism permeates both his VC and international micro-finance interests and is quite unusual for someone of his generation.
