I use to go to Digg but stopped going. My problem with Digg is that it’s so dominated by a certain demographic, the best I can describe them is that they are the frat boy types. So many of the digged stories are the funny/odd news kind like “monkeys pay for sex” or “breasts bounce 20 directions when jogging”. Then there are the tabloidesque/conspiracy theory stories like “Bush’s secret plan to go to war with Iran” type. To be fair a lot of news (Yahoo! News) suffers from that but with Digg it’s too much.

Digg never did anything for me trafficwise. Stumbleupon has on many occasions.
        I stumble alot.
        You’re digged.

Dugg! Did you guys do this story, knowing that you would get digg presence, just to see if it would do anything? Genius!

If digg ever goes IPO with a valuation of more than pocket lint I will personally bitch-slap every banker and investor involved.

We should note that MSFT did an ad deal with Digg last year not unlike their Facebook deal.
