        Very cool organization.

The reason news outlets aren’t covering this as “always the top story” is because it really isn’t interesting to most people on a day-to-day basis.

During the three-week period that the actual war was going on, 24/7 coverage and people glued to their sets. Now it’s just policing and keeping some annoying terrorist groups and Iranian/Syrian secret forces under control as much as possible. Nothing to gain (we’ve already won), and no chance we lose. People don’t tune in to the 3rd and 4th quarter of a blowout.

Add to that an absolutely incapable opposition party that wins power and does nothing it promised…and you have the recipe for a completely uninterested and fatigued general population.

Good to know there are guys like this out there that don’t tire so easily :)

Great interview guys…didn’t even know about aliveinbaghdad.org. Thanks for bringing it to the forefront. Some pretty brave people bringing the strait shit to those interested.

            Peace

“Iraqis just want stability. They want to have their kids to be able to go to school…they want to go to work…they want the same things we have”.

                Long FREEDOM!

Sometimes we have to leave content out of the interview in the interest of time that is REALLY important. At the end of the interview I asked Brian what people could do to support his work and the work of all of the correspondents on AliveinBaghdad.org, and he told us about their fundraising widget and asked if we could post it. We did! Over on the side bar.

Also, Brian stressed that even the SMALLEST donation makes a huge difference in his operating budget. A larger donation could mean the ability to start a new branch of AliveinBaghdad somewhere you care about.

                  Thanks for watching!
