    Yea, I too find it hard to swallow when I see Microsoft do something half decent…ah well. Kudos to them, and those invested in them - myself included ;o)

      Microsoft is a global play. Weak dollar helps and emerging markets are the key.

      I just don’t see a Russian, Indian or Chinese dude camping out in front of a new Apple store.

            Well that didn’t last long, something just didn’t feel right about the “ribbed for her pleasure red” Dell XPS sitting on that desk.

            I’m sure you guys are getting hammered by notebook companies today!

                Throw a white Macbook up there. Cover up the Apple logo if you have to. Macs just look better on camera.

                  I think MSFT is getting a little too big and slow. I mean, ever compared the stock to AAPL lately? Problem is not the sales but the kind of end to end apple has - you know from hardware to software - anything. And I also think we’re at a point where computers - just like the other gadgets we surround ourselves with, are all about style. Try that with a dell.

                    Personally, I think Vista sucks and XP is still the OS of choice. MSFT should do a SP3 for XP and can Vista altogether. Then, they should stop worrying about Google and begin work on Vista 2.0 and do it right… and go back to $99 being the cost to buy.
