meat spin is NOT safe for work by the way…

What drives me to visit EVERY site I hear mentioned online or elsewhere. Alan, is right…that site is definitely NSFW…luckily, I work at home! Also, gotta say, bit of a loser thing to do to mention such a site, knowing people will go to it. He definitely is just a kid, and his immaturity will probably be his downfall.

Meatspin is a common site to send the common oblivious user to as a good practical joke.

Jakob and the CV guys are solid, hard working, and deserve every bit of success and every dollar.
They beat youtube to the marketplace - and even had a site (in the same vein, but not entirely similar) to a facebook years before zuckerberg. Even in their IAC deal they didn’t sell out. The communities they built are still in tact and flourishing.
Whether or not “boswellian” cares to notice - talent and execution *slightly* outweigh a random reference to a website that’s NSFW.

“common oblivious user” or “people who actually have a life and don’t spend all their time tracking the latest internet memes.” It’s about as clever and funny as rick rolling…again, childish and boring.

Jakob is intelligent.. and if he come off arrogant to you (which he dosent to me) he has every right.

@Will Hutson
Referring to me as an “ass clown” on your site shows you probably don’t suffer from an abundance of basic decency yourself. Or maybe you’re just having a bad day. Regardless, I didn’t speak to his work ethic, I spoke to his professionalism…that is probably why he isn’t YouTube or Facebook…but ultimately I don’t care one way or the other…it was just in bad taste.

It’s Friday, Bos, chill; it’s not like WALLSTRiP is a bastion of high-brow humor. I thought someone watching would catch that the people here try not to take themselves too seriously…
Boswellian 9 months ago
Abe, I’m chill every day of the week…it doesn’t have to be Friday! That just means I’m also not afraid to speak my mind. I love this site and love Lindsay’s vids. Keep it up, L!!

Fair enough, you just sounded angrier than the typical viewer is all.
I agree with Bos; keep up the great work team. It definitely was an interesting interview, and clearly thought-provoking as well.

unless you use the term fraud on this site ande just are mean, conversation should be welcome and encouraged.
glad you are working this out :)
been reading JKOB’S TUMBLR. the dude is out there and funny.
Lindsay looks good in red…no?

LC was wearing red? I was too distracted by the shaggy haircut and hoody notice.

IMO, he comes off as defensive and jealous of those other sites that just so happen to have a huge mass audience (read $$$) compared to Vimeo which apparently is only for people who share his interests. We all know the winners are the ones who can adapt new technologies to the mass audience, not who was first. Do we need to go down the list? I guess most people would probably have the same response if they had to repeatedly answer the implied question, “if you were first why are they so hugely successful and your not?”

he seems pretty successful to me. Tough crowd.
is this valleywag now :)

It’s a good thing I like you guys. This was my least favorite show ever. . .

he’s young and smart and can pretty much write his own ticket but he opens the door to this kind of response when he degrades the other players as he does. If I’m an investor, I bet on the arrogant people who figure out what sells, not the ones infatuated with themselves or some new technology. If I’m the competition, I take a few of his quotes and put them on the locker room door ;) but what do I know, I still use email and buy mutual funds.
