        yes…I have an MBA and would also short it. Better to watch Rodney in back to school three times a year for three years

          Is a cab driver that picks Paul up on the street considered a scab?

          Of course greed is good because it’s a natural and very effective motivator.

          The only people that believe otherwise are 1) ones whose greed has already been satisfied (think Kerry, Edwards, etc) and 2) ones who desire a redistribution of what others’ greed has earned.

                Paul is great. Long Paul. Long greed. Short Bernanke. Short MBAs - why pay $200K+ for 2 years of pointless lecture and networking when I can do all that and MAKE at least twice that money by working? The only people who get MBAs in finance these days are investment bankers who couldn’t get a hedge fund/PE job after their 2 year indentured servitude.

                        Ben, we use two cameras for every interview…that’s how we have both angles. We make cuts in the long/shorts (and throughout the interview) for time. Wallstrip’s committed to being about 4 minutes but I speak with our interviewees for as many as forty minutes sometimes… hence, the cutting :)

                          Sure, I’ll short the MBA after I graduate. Yes, 90% of the MBA experience is pure BS even at top schools, particularly when you have to deal with the morons who actually get into business school via their daddy’s influence. But I rather have one in this day and age than not have one. Contempt for education is never a good thing and I won’t say more because I don’t want to get vanished from this lovely community. Unless you’re Richard Branson or Bill Gates don’t tell me to skip b-school. I wonder if the doc is still the Executive Director of the William J. von Liebig Center in San Diego, California.

                          It’s beautiful to talk smack when you already have credentials and you are sitting on a pile of money and you have a 35-page CV.

                          You don’t get an MBA to become a better person or a better business leader…that much I agree with, but you do learn tactical skills and you establish a network that will be very useful if your name doesn’t have a WASPY ring to it. You wnder why so many comapnies flop? Or why people have no ethics? Most likely they never read a damn book.

                            A lawdegree is better, wish I had one.
