Not to be cruel, … but will you be interviewing
any of the Enron gang or how about Bernie Ebbers!
Banned for Life!
Henry got off easy.

Big Dog,
alleyinsider offers insight from some talented people…period.
Comparing Henry to Bernie Ebbers or the Enrn gang is a stretch, but you are entitled to your opinion for sure as our we.

Criminal strip; there was a Belichick interview and I missed it? :-P
long interesting interviews and LC on the Daily Show (if that were to happen I’d actually watch that show, Colbert Report is a much better show).

Now new england got off easy. they should have the win taken a way and be banned from this year playoffs.

Henry Blodget looks good. If I didn’t know any better I would say he is charming. All that stuff happened a lifetime ago. I would say this though: It was more than not wanting to miss the next big wave…it was greed and not being honest with the people who depended on your his opinion. But he wasn’t the only cheerleader in town. Mary Meeker is still pumping stocks for Morgan Standley.

Sorry Howard, but Mr. Bloget’s credibility leaves a lot to be desired. “…insight from some talented people”!!??. Lucky for me, I was not heavy into tech or .com when the Bubble burst. I do know several associates that lost big time.
(Ah! but they were Greedy, … then and now)
Still, I for one would question not only Mr. Bloget’s analytical ability but his motivations.
I love the Strip, … but
Better you than me.

P.S. Howard, …
I take it you’re not a Patriot’s fan!
“J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets!!”

I don’t know if I’d go so far as a playoff ban, but Belichick and the Patriots definitely got off easy. I think Mark Craig of the Star Tribune says it better than I can;

He’s “long” Wallstrip while on camera but he secretly emails his associates and tell them it’s a P.O.S.

Was that a plain Styrofoam cup he was drinking from? Howard, you missed another product placement opportunity.
Re: Trend Following IS NOT for Everyone Van K Tharp
“It’s ok to give back profits, but not ok to give back principal†Howard, that truth is not limited to trend following systems.

If you liked YHOO at 138 you’re gonna love it at 9. Thanks Henry.
And I go to every Jets game. Stop booing Chad.

If I understood correctly - while things are “cyclical” there still was not a single tech name he did not like.

bubble - n 1: a globule of gas in a liquid 2 : used by media types since 2003 to describe any asset class that rises in value
Seriously, pull up a ten year chart of something and tell me how many bubbles you see.

Anyone who blindly follows opinions of sell side analysts deserves to lose their money, and everyone who works on Wall Street is motivated by greed to some extent.
Jeff - Henry got caught and paid for it, how has he been given a 2nd chance? He is banned for life. If he’s able to make money in other ways that’s entrepreneurship. Nobody is giving him handouts.
