Loved it.

I should have known Kessler was a fan of Hunter S. Thompson. The guy is the ultimately Gonzo financial writer, mixing factual events with halarious personal tales. Running Money is F%$# funny as hell. A fabulous book..way better than Liar’s Poker.
His latest book on health care is solid and check out the exchange between Kessler and the late Milton Friedman on the subject–it’s on Kessler’s website. Better than any econ class I’ve taken. It’s a great lesson for anyone interested in healthcare. But I’m not sure Washington politicos are reading the book. The 2 trillion healthcare industry is a different animal where logic does not exist.
Great interview Linsay. The California light is beautiful. Northern California and Normandy are the best places for natural light photography. Was this video shot in the early morning or late afternoon? It’s beautiful. The camera man did a wonderful job.

I’ve read all of Kessler’s books. Fabulous writer, entertaining and easy reads. Perfect for bringing along when flying coast to coast.
Wallstrip gets better with every show. Lindsay is terrific, as is the writing and production…
Good call lightening up the trailer ad, it was getting very stale.
Keep ‘em coming Howard!

Technology hurts the middleman, Maximo. Kessler’s book is a threat to insurance companies. Early detection means less expensive treatments.

danja - is it not about time we hurt insurnace companies. That’s disription and that’s huge trends and new monies.
The book is right on. Silicon Valley needs to listen. Web shit is moving east.

Let’s hurt the insurance companies?
Is this going to an active placard finger pointing movements or are you going to be a pacifist and hurt the insurance companies by refusing to die? I like it Howard, “Hurt the Insurance Companies! Refuse to die!â€

Howard, can’t you beef up the sound? I have trouble hearing half of what’s said. My computer sound is set as high as it goes.
Just had my hearing tested, so problem isn’t mine!!

I LOVE THE END! You guys listened to us about doing something, anything, about David Kalt. Thank you all. You just made my day (almost as much as being long vol while VIX hits 30 - nothing like making money while other hedgies are panicking).
Also - yes Andy Kessler is brilliant… I’m rarely a fan of these interviews, but this one is a gem. I wonder where he lives. Looks like Atherton? Too grassy for Los Altos. Maybe Los Gatos? I’d love to “accidentally” bump into him on a weekend at a coffee shop and pick his brain.
Also I definitely got wasted after market close today so pardon the rambling. Cheers!

Health care is an important topic to look into, prevention just doesn’t make profits.

Prevention doesn’t make profits?
That’s funny. Like, let’s don’t go there ‘cause it don’t make money. Now how did my nicotine patch get stuck to my vitamin water?
