Come on Lindsay, if Charlize Theron can ugly-up for Monster then you can try to look a little more haggard for your role as a trailer mama. Your face looks like you just came back from a Neutrogena commercial. :)

why do people buy these tickets again?

lindsay, were you going for a hippie look or an impoverished welfare recipient?

  • mpbk // Aug 2, 2007 at 4:46 am

Both fabulous actors sang their own parts. The guitar player is Brent Rose, who also wrote the music and lyrics.

This is right up there with JBX (except that the food portrayed here is more nutritious).

Bet y’all didn’t know your favorite video blog star had pipes like that.

Lindsay: I still say you made the song. You sound friggin’ amazing.

    Great job to all involved!

Kristian: Lindsay doesn’t know how to dress tacky!
We have found her flaw. She can’t do trash.

first I just rewatched jack in the box and it is amazing to see how far you all have come. you are setting new standards for yourselves every day. Howard and Lindsey did not even know the words to what they were lip sinking in jack in the box. Who new lindsey had such a grate voice. Lindsey have any record companies contacted you yet. It is truly amassing to see how fucking incredible you all have made this show both in production value and in content.
I love it! excuse my foul mouth, I did not indent to offend the fragile sentiment of any Canadians out there.

This morning at the gas station the guy in front of me bought a few scratch-offs. I thought… “what a loser”.

I then proceeded to pay $3.18 for two bottles of lightly sweetened, “vitamin-enhanced” water.

At least he has a shot at being a winner…I just have to pee.

  • Chris Payne // Aug 2, 2007 at 12:41 pm

I am LONG Brent Rose and Lindsay Campbell! Your voices sound great together. I hope you have plans for more recording in the near future.

    Great episode!

david kalt needs to make his blah blah more interesting in order to keep pace with wallstrips clever, funny stuff.

I have a gas station about 1/4 mile away from my home. I figure my odds of winning the lottery are now evenly stacked with those of being killed in a car accident. I’m going for it!!

(oh and GREAT job…this song is STUCK in my head now. top 5 wallstrips ever, IMO)

  • Matt // Aug 2, 2007 at 2:12 pm

Really really great song. I am going to listen to it quite a few times I have a feeling. I do like the stock too, have some calls. They come out with earning today, but the way the shorts have pushed them down, I guess no one is expecting much. Oh well, I think they will do fine. Growing fast and now a big presence in China, lots of international so they aren’t hurt by falling dollar, etc.

  • Flash // Aug 2, 2007 at 2:33 pm

Andrew (who emailed me) - Yes, that was a mouth-trumpet solo.

And for those who are interested, my website has been newly updated. More music, more video, all that good stuff.

Another Good ‘un. Brent is a babe! I mean, Lindsay is a babe. Hell, they’re both babes!

  • Luci B // Aug 3, 2007 at 1:11 am

This is my favorite so far. Great lyrics and music by Brent and great voice Lindsey. You know, seeing her use her lotto tickets for essentials like food and diapers was kind of moving…it really brought the real issue home. Good work both of you.

  • SarahD // Aug 4, 2007 at 11:54 pm

Love it. As always. Clever, fun, and informative.
