Uh… err… I missed it. What is the trend with this stock?

The “miracles of science” = pic of Joan Rivers was hilarious.
On the other hand, the quick cut from the Lindsay blooper to the Options Exress guy was downright jarring.
You owe me a breakfast or something.

From my good friend eric at Blackstar:
With all the new chemical stocks at all time highs you go with Dupont? Take a look at AGU, KMGB, TNH, CF, TRA, UAPH, SYT, SQM, MON, FUL, CYT, SXT, LYO, LZ, WPZ, FTK, GRA, CBT, PENX, IOSP, SIAL, WDFC
Also EMN, APD, SHW, CE, ROH, FMC, ROC, MTX, PX, SHI, ALB, VHI, RHA, AWC, ARJ, CMP, IFF, BF, NLC.
I am long ppg and my post explains why we picked Dupont.

Above 53.00 should clear the way for a push past the 54.88 high made in March 05 and from there, 60-65 looks attainable for DD. See my video technical analysis of the stock at http://www.alphatrends.blogspot.com

Not relevant to DuPont, but I thought this might be interesting reading for some WallStrippers. Paper from New York and Arizona State Universities.
“…We study real estate purchases of nearly every top executive in the Standard & Poor’s 500 index. We test whether CEOs’ decisions about the size, cost, and financing of their homes contains information useful for forecasting future performance of their companies, and we find patterns with strong statistical and economic significance.”

in short…
“future company performance is inversely related to the CEO’s liquidation
of company shares and options for financing the transaction”

Great long-term play!! It’s all about innovation! DuPont’s electrical insulation systems are going to make a killing in the wind turbine market. The company is also a mayor player in the solar panel market providing fluoropolymer and thick film matallizer. The company is also developing biobutanol along with BP. The renewable energy business is future. I’m going to dump my mining stocks and buy Dupont and ABB.

The statement about DuPont being involved with Iraqi weapons programs was an interesting one. Thats not to cool.
And as always, watch out for those nano-aliens!

Brett, you beat me to it! I knew about Jeff Gordon as a kid before I knew DuPont made chemicals.
