Loved the ad!!! It fits right in with the style of Wallstrip. Did the Wallstrip crew make the ad also?

No chickens were harmed in the filming of this.

Lindsay’s lipstick shade was a little redder than normal today… is that some kind of Wallstrip market indicator telling your faithful to SELL?

Perhaps Citigroup took it that way because they downgraded FDX preopen. They’re telling clients to go UPS. Need to get those people on board Howard…

I think Fedex lower is good since I dont own it and want to - Mid $90’s pleaaaase.

Michelle - Yes Adama dn jeff created the commercials.

Derek, thousands of chickens and one goat were harmed.

I liked the Lifelock ad, but with the pre-roll, and post roll, does the Lifelock logo need to be in Wall-strip the Entire time? I find it distracting from your podcast. I think you should fly it in at the beginning, and fly it out after a few seconds. It detracts from what you’re talking about and showing regarding FedEx.

              You tell ‘em, Mr Turkeyneck!

Another entertaining episode of WallStrip, and now that I have my daily dose, I do have that package that needs to be delivered….

Good points Rick - it’s definately a learning process so your feedback is good.

No shipping charge to order lifelock by the way.

I concur with Rick B. If the Lifelock ad HAS to be there (which is unfortunate), then so be it. I found the embedded name and logo, however, wildly distracting–especially when it was in motion. Plus it was so much bigger than the ticker symbol.

On the other hand…do whatever it takes for more forest creatures kicking celebrities in the crotch.

There’s no doubt that the LifeLock sponsorship is a new wrinkle, but what we really wanted to do was avoid the standard, super obtrusive 20 second pre-roll ad that you are forced to sit through with other web video.

Hopefully we have accomplished that, and we will work on tweaking what’s there to make it even more seemless!

The ad for LifeLock could have been integrated with WallStrip a bit more. For example, the guy says “Bring out the virgin” and Lindsay appears on screen.

There, I set it up, now feel free to add your own punchlines.

Perma – commercial Yuck! I’m history.

Sorry guys, I’m a DHL groupie myself. Customer service at Fed Ex pissed me off one day and I haven’t been back since. Good show though - as usual.

Another thing about the lifelock ad - it takes over the blooper etc. clips at the end. Maybe put them in their own video from time to time instead…

                                  • jvon One year ago

I think if the logo during the show was smaller (and preferably not in front of Lindsay — let’s face it, she’s the best looking thing in the show), it’d be OK. I miss the blooper bit though; can that be stuck between the show and the post-roll?

I live out in the sticks and prefer UPS, because the driver will just leave packages here. FedEx appears to be unwilling to do that and I have to play the sign-the-thing-and-stick-it-on-the-door game. DHL uses subs out here who don’t even ring my bell. Maybe they’re afraid. Cue the banjo music.
