Her name is Allison Watrous and she is FAAAHBULOUS!! Allison is an extraordinary theater actress and educator and we are so lucky to be working with her!
Ok, this is now my favorite episode. I have not even see Suze in action, but have read one or two of her write-ups, and this is a delicious parody of her basic viewpoint.
Is this the kind of lame content we can expect in a bear market???
This is as boring as listening to Lindsay sing railroad songs or watching Howard and friends play with their Crackberries.
“Our business is hot trends and stocks at all time highs”
– what happens when stocks stop making all-time highs???
–Perhaps you should start looking the other way identifying dying trends and stocks hitting new lows (ie. HLYS).
As the market goes, so does the success (or lack thereof) of Wallstrip.
Henry - anything that keeps your old body off the roads and driving is a good thing. You are for sure our oldest reader. Kisses to Shirley and everybody in Toronto
“Why are you coming - please don’t and spare us your idiocy. ”
>Not sure what you mean.
As for my expertise, it’s funny that I am in complete agreement with The Fly whom you seem to want to give a knob job to yet he continues to brush you off…
As for Suze being hot, I would argue not…you’re about 2 years too late (so were the most recent VC’s that backed you guys).
I didn’t comment on this last night because I watched the show right before bed and I was concerned I would have nightmares about orange lesbians. I didn’t, though.
I’ve never seen this Suze person in action but the impression is hilarious. I particularly liked the way she leaves her mouth hanging open when waiting for a response. Completely over the top and very funny.
As for kidstock’s comment, Wallstrip was doing shows like this when the market looked unstoppable also. But I imagine you knew that already. Dunno about you, but yesterday was a pretty good day for my investments.
howard…i am thrilled at your quick response to my meek comment…..and i am impressed with your awesome abilities one of which appears to be your clairvoyance (spelling??)…anyhow i think wall strip is wonderful–creative, clever, and funny—lindsay is perfect–and you are to be congratulated on this project..
having said all that….i think i have some wall street ending type music that you may have some interest in….i do like the opening….

[…] Wallstrip - Mad Money, Suze Orman Style In today’s Wallstrip, we have Mad Money, Suze Orman Style, with actress Allison Watrous doing a great job at impersonating shallow and hysterical Suze Orman (to get an impression of how the real Suze is, check this out). […]
lmao MOONDO - I noticed the same thing with the spelling, first I thought they were trying to be funny, but nothing else was misspelled so I guess it was just a missed error the editing department overlooked. Funny show - always enjoy it!
Howard disses Fast Money, Cramer, and now Suzie.. Hair jealiousy anyone? Wallstrip is run by a bunch of hacks. I hope Lindsay gets out before it becomes career suicide.
Allison was wonderful as Suze and it was reminicent (to me, anyway) of early SNL. Keep on truckin Wallstrip. You guys are just great!
Kristine
P.S. How old is Uncle Henry?
Brilliant… absolutely brilliant. One of the best Orman parodies I’ve ever seen. Now if only we could convince Orman (and her fans) to ditch her depression-era style of financial planning and get with the times, we’d be golden. She doesn’t even invest in the stock market!

I guess there are some tanning stocks at all time highs as well.

Wow - the CNBC parodies continue. Just want to tell whoever did this one that her Orman impression is AMAZING.

kidstock - first-thx for your expertise in deciding on bear markets.
Suze is a hot trend, and her status is very much an all-time high right or wrong, like many stocks we cover.
Why are you coming - please don’t and spare us your idiocy.

I think it was great, although the subject matter was a bit obscure. (To me, anyway.)

Paul - I wish. i said find a Suze. That’s all I did.
I saw it live this morning just like you.
It took real pros to have to watch her and get her quirks. I can’t watch Suze.
The actress is my fave. She did medtronic as well. reminds me of Joan Cusack
