My best guess, the market opens down 300 today, reverses– then proceeds to “mushroom cloud” every bear in sight (commando style).
13,000 by tomorrow’s afternoon tea & crumpets.

The fear today is perfect. These are days that those with cash should buy a few shares of their favorite companies.

Put this down in ink. JULY 6, 2007. However - I will have to manipulate the market a little bit to make this happen. I will short the Dow on July 5 to assure the appropriate course on July 6. It’s a gift .. and a curse.

Thats a great wallstrip comment Vic. thx

Did that guy actually predict a 500 point spike in the dow “between 2 and 3pm” on the exact same day that it was down 500 at almost theexact same time. He is either the anti-christ, or one of the worst stock predictors of all time.

In the past 30 mins, significant volume spikes have hit small/mid cap stocks. Nothing you’ll see in the indicies.
Funds are rotating…

I don’t understand. Why didn’t all the NYC guys bolt away from Lindsay like they usually do when she ever so gently sticks a micro in their faces? Does a strong market pullback encourage friendliness, warmth, and honesty?

I pick 2025.
There was this boom prophet Harry Dent who predicted the Dow would hit 40,000 by 2008 and got paid $55,000 to speak on this. I wonder what date he’ll pick.
TheBillfold One year ago
On my birthday - March 21! Any year.

Jo - re harry dent.
Thats the problem of buying books about predictions - you get predictions. 99.9 percent worthless.

More like, when will the Dow drop below 12,000?

Uh Oh, another guess the price thingy.
If you check, a few months ago I was within 1 shiny penny of VSEA closing over at Tradding Goddess
I dusted off that crystal ball of mine, with the market the way it has been lately, I haven’t used it much. It says DOW 13,000 on Thursday October 4, 2007 at 3:26 PM EST.
Howard: When I win, do I get more stuff b/c I was within 10 min? LOL

Nice call Steve Kats. I at least said this year. Still to many bears despite the quick climb.
Kidstock was close as well.
Susan said April 11th so kudos to her for that.
