A few more like these and Wallstrip will be history. I think you’re spreading yourselves too thin with a stock a day-it’s just too much. Why don’t you concentrate on a portfolio and produce segments on interesting technical, fundamental, and economic ideas and trends not only for our domestic markets and economy but for global and emerging ones as well. Just the ravings of a mad man, but please consider them as I think they might have merit.

Stephen Colbert is cute for sure, but Lindsay is way cuter! Good parody on the Word.

I continue to watch Wallstrip because it is clever, creative, and informative. I have learned something from each one of the episodes except maybe the one on the Siri/Xmsr merger.

Oh, I did learn something from that one–Howard is a kvetch!

          Funny Michelle.

Russell - i read the same thing in Nostradamos about wallstrip. eerie.

zzzzzzzzz…oops sorry. I just finished reading Mr. Fuhrman’s suggestion. Please keep up your wonderful, funny, fresh and yes, very informative Wallstrip that I look forward to seeing each morning before work. BTW, my Wallstrip jersey arrived…so cute!!!

The Fuhrer wants less comedy more finance! Shnell!

Income Sot - you are correct - China down 9 percent so there is a lot of hurt of wallstreet today.

Our Baidu is down 5 percent.

My inbox had been flooded with chines IPO stocks to cover so this seems inevitable.

Wow! Howard, you must be living on the edge if a 5% raises your eyebrows. Stop.

What I’d like to know is how the first woman figured out crocodile dung was a contraceptive. There ought to be a story in there about woman’s resourcefulness. (no pun intended)

Thank you, Michelle, for taking the time to respond to my constructive criticism especially considering how busy you must be with community college classes and tanning salon appointments. Memo to Cammy: perhaps you’d be kind enough to favor us with a picture of yourself in your cute Wallstrip jersey. As to Mefly: doing comedy is harder than making money in the market, as you no doubt have experience. Next?

People that end a string of nonsensical, personal insults with “Next?” always crack me up. I imagine them sitting in front of the computer with a swell of pride beaming from them, constantly re-reading the verbal onslaught which has just destroyed their “enemy”… and refreshing the page every 3 seconds hoping that someone has dared to respond….and counting every refresh without a response further evidence of the utter domination that they have just unleashed upon cyber-strangers.

                        I keep picturing Dwight Schrute.

Am I going to have to start making fun of people who make condescending remarks to blog commenters? I might implode in a brilliant flash of irony. No, it’s just not worth the risk. I’ll leave it alone.

I’ve never watch Cobert’s thing so I didn’t get who you were spoofing, but I always enjoy the shows when you guys get goofy. If I wanted serious, I’d be watching something else.

I second Russell’s request to see Cammy in her super cute jersey. I’d like to see how “wonderful, funny and fresh” you look now that your image has been wallstripped.

                              Good post by andy

The wallstrip index is indeed slammed today with 50 of 52 stocks down. Yowza. That wasa long overdue.

Russel - your criticism while you think constructive was not.

It was an opinion and you opened with we were hostory.

Not a friendly way to have criticism heard.

Never one to shy away from a brawl, I wanted to add my 2 cents: anyone who’s missed the cultural phenom that is the Colbert Report (both T’s are silent :) should check it out.

                                    And THAT’s today’s WORD, Nation!

Believe it or not, some of us are time-constrained and must priortize how we budget our online time. Some of us have to choose, say, between Howard & Wallstrip and Jeremy Siegel & Knowledge@Wharton, for example. Nevertheless, I must admit my mask has been ruthlessly torn off revealing me to be the trash culture illiterate I am. Therefore, after spending the day fasting and praying about this online brawl, I will be departing shortly for a monastery where I will spend the balance of my days scrubbing floors as penance for having had the temerity to make suggestions for improving the Wallstrip experience and, no doubt, just underming Howard’s business model based on H.L. Mencken’s dictim that no one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people.

Temerity sounds like a word Nigel would use in Frasier.
