How in the world do you guys track down all that footage, like the old(?) commercials, footage from the brewer’s show & the Simpsons? Will you have to kill me if you tell me? :-)

At last, the ATF triuverate is complete! Alcohol (SAM, FO), Tobacco (Altria) and Firearms (Smith & Wesson). Very nice.

I think that was Family Guy, not the Simpsons… great clips though!

        • Lindsay Campbell One year ago

Stan, you are correct. Family guy :) Good eye.

Informative and fun, how can you dislike that combo???

The clip at the end was definitely from Family Guy…one of my favorite shows ;)

              Ahem…triumvirate.

Long ATF, especially on 20 percent dips. Take that to the bang, bar and bong

                  Lindsay ! … WTF ? … taste certainly matters …

You flubbed that part … yeah yeah - the patriot thing is a marketing trick … but hey! - that was all done before 911 - before it was cool to wave the flag again. So give him credit for history and Boston … they are mercilessly intertwined.

Back to the taste thing. You said that you dont know if it matters or is true - something to that effect. Sorry kiddo … taste and wine, beer and spirits … IS what matters. And, the Denver competition is not a stacked deal - it is the real thing … thus the point made in the advertising.

I have drank beer seriously for years - a college requirement - but seriously. There are pale ales/brews, with no flavor … in the US … and so I always stuck with canada’s offerings, avoiding the bitter german groups … and then magically Sam Adams popped on the scene (not to mention the Sam Adams Lite - simply amazing).

Trust me Lyns … this is the real thing - and they DO have a superior tasting product. Sorry to rant … but this is a truly important colloquial culinary issue.

“Weed and hooker spit…” … I nearly spit my double-americano w/ two splendas and a splash of NF milk on my HP keyboard this morning!

                      Lindsay,

What beer do you drink? No “whatever someone’s buying me” answers.

Blue Moon man myself. Born the day they landed on the moon so I figured it was made for me.

                      • Lindsay Campbell One year ago

I love Guinness, Newcastle, Pilsner Urquell and Stella Artois. Blue Moon = okay with a lemon (if it’s a hot summer day and you’re sitting outside). Sam Adams= never okay. Sorry.

Fresh Bread recommends Harp, brewed by Guinness, Ireland’s own common lager.

Nice, I could go for a beer right about now ;-)

The other half of Fresh Bread suggests West Coast microbrews. Specifically Alaska, North Coast, Red Tail, Anderson Valley, and the king of them all, Lagunitas.

                                pathetic …

Sam Adams was always a little too hoppy for me. Gives me heartburn. I’m with Lindsay on the Guinness thing.

Great piece, very enjoyable. Weed and hooker spit indeed.

There are a bunch of people at Ohio street that need booze not beer tonight.

Pilsner Urquell is just the best. The lady knows taste.

                                                    Newcastle is a good choice.

But my first choice is almost always Yuengling.

                                                    And then the occasional Grolsch.
