[…] Today’s stock at Wallstrip is Google so we’ll take a look at it from a Rule 1 perspective. This is one company that we don’t even have to look at the Big 5 numbers to analyze: [begin analysis] All of the numbers are huge! [/end analysis] Of more interest for Google are the Margin of Safety and Sticker prices. The current stock price is approximately $460 and using the Rule 1 calculator I get a sticker price of $1600 and an MOS price of $800. Look at that Google is on sale! […]
I use gmail, blogger, youtube, and google for search… and you know what? I hate them! I hate how smug they are, I hate how everyone loves them, and I hate how they pretend to “do no evil”! More like Do KNOW evil in my opinion… I’m just waiting for them to become the only viable search engine so the EU can smack them with antitrust lawsuits. That, and I had dinner with Sergey Brin (cofounder) a couple of months ago, and the guy brought the cheapest bottle of wine at the table! Would you trust the GoogleMonster?

The woman on the street with the comment about Google and philanthropy made me wonder how they are participating in it. I was impressed: http://www.nytimes.com/2006/09/14/technology/14google.html?ex=1315886400&en=d6861c974c19b3e7&ei=5088social
